Hobby Haul

This month I bought both of the gang expansion boxes for Warhammer Necromunda, the Escher gang Matriarchs & Phyrr cats and the Goliath Forge Bosses and Sumpkrocs. I/m really enjoying the new Necromunda miniatures ascetic/ As well as the miniatures I also purchased both Journals, both sets of tactics cards and both sets of dice. later discovering that the dice are the same as the original House of Blades and House of Chains set, except the new branding. Also I bought a selection of paints and sundries for the painting desk, primarily paints from the Two Thins Coats range.

Built Miniatures
I finished assembling the remainding Gretchin models from the Warhammer 4000 Armageddon core box and the Kill Team Spectre Squad spec builds. I also assembled a single model from the Kill Team Inquisitorial Agents Kill Team set. I moved a little closer to completing my House Goliath set from Necromunda '95 with the Heavy with Heavy Bolter model.
Anything Terrain
I painted The Soul Stone from the Age of Sigmar Shattered Dominion Ojective Set. mainly painted with Contrast and Speed paint with various rust effect paints and washes.

Had a bit of a road trip to check out the newish Wayland Games Centre in Brentwood. We got there just before opening and parked the car in the relatively empty carpark. There was a Battletech event on in the gaming area so it was a little busier then I guess it would have been normally at that time. The store was a little smaller than I expected with a small selection of hobby supplies and models. But of course, with it being connected to the main warehouse and distribution centre there was a next day click and collect service on any item they sold. The gaming area wasn't huge either but looked great, with lots of options for terrain etc for various games. You could also book the smaller tables in the Lounge for more compact games like Kill Team, Spearhead and Necromunda etc You could also order food and drinks in the Lounge too. My purchases were just various paints as I have a few events and stores I'm planing to visit next month that will eat into my hobby pounds.
