Month in Review: August 2026
Hobby Haul
Pile of Shame Increase 2026: +37
This month was a pretty large purchasing month. The first items weren't actually purchased this month but were purchased as a made to order earlier and were received this month. They were the Capacitor Cluster and Galvanic network terrain kits. Later in the month I added the new Zone Mortalis: Factoria Pipes to my collection.
Later in the month I bought into the new edition of Necromunda, purchasing the core set, both Gang box (and not shown here) 28mm and 50mm Necromunda bases. I'm still not sure how I feel about the new edition and the redundancy of all the hardback books I have collected for the older edition. But as a necromunda collector I decided to make the purchase and see, the miniatures are amazing anyway.
I also purchased More 'n' Thorg, a Star Player from Blood Bowl in plastic and two boxes of the Kill Team: Spectre Squad. Two boxes because I wanted all the variants your are able to build from the contents.

Built Miniatures
A real mix of miniatures assembled this month. Some more of the Gellerpox infected from Kill Team/Rogue Trader. Galen and Doralia from Age of Sigmar. A classic Necromunda metal Leader, not really assembled except for gluing him to the base. A trio of the Deadwalker Zombies from Age of Sigmar. The new Morg 'n' Thorg Blood Bowl model and a few of the Kill Team: Spectre Squad.
Anything Terrain
I assembled the limited terrain from the new Necromunda Core Box.
Games Played
Other Hobby
I managed to do a paint run to Element Games in Dury Lane, London. An absolute treasure trove of various paints from a host of manufactures, such as Warhammer Colour, Two Thin Coats, Dark Star, Army Painter, Ammo and P3. Just to name a few. It is quite easy to spend far too much time looking around at the the hobby supplies they have available to purchase.
